Entertaining generations of this growing family in a functional yet beautiful space were the goals of this kitchen remodel. An improved layout along with a fresh look fit the bill. In addition to new cabinets, countertops, and tile backsplash, a spectacular custom Raw Urth hood serves as a focal point. The original island was replaced with a larger, more functional version. Of particular note is the island countertop which required a specially designed, articulating cart to access the building elevator.

All aspects of the kitchen are new except for the tile floor which was infilled and repaired to accommodate the reconfigured island. Updated bathroom fixtures, cabinetry, vanity, and finishes in his bathroom rounded out this project.
