Two Suites

This “whole house” remodel started with some serious framing work on the roof to create two suites. 

The master suite on one end of the second floor consists of a full bath including soaking tub, a dressing room and a bedroom with a round window as well as large windows looking to the wooded back yard. The opposite end of the second floor contains a second suite with a full bath and bedroom.

Highlights on the first floor include a new kitchen with hewn beams, generous counter area, and great views of the wooded back yard made possible by new patio doors and windows. Off the kitchen is a stunning powder room and an ample mud room with loads of storage. Removal of the central bearing wall allowed for an open floor plan with the new stone fireplace as the focal point.
